Types of sink installation – where to start?

The installation method depends on the design of the chosen model and the material of your kitchen countertop. There are three main solutions on the market:

• Inset / Overmount sinks: The most popular and easiest to install. The rim of the sink rests on the cutout in the countertop. They fit any material (laminate, wood, stone, HPL).
• Undermount sinks: Installed from underneath the countertop. They require completely waterproof countertops (stone, quartz, solid surface, HPL).
• Flush-mounted sinks: They create a single, perfectly smooth surface with the countertop. They require very precise milling of the edge.
