This component is the FCF 260 Long Life carbon filter, which effectively absorbs not only unpleasant cooking odours but also a wide range of harmful particles released during cooking. Thanks to its enhanced structure containing a higher amount of activated carbon compared to standard filters, the Long Life activated carbon filter offers an extended service life of 2.5–3 years when properly regenerated every 4–6 months.

Carbon Filter Regeneration Instructions:
- This reusable filter should be regenerated either in a dishwasher or by soaking it in hot water.
- In both cases, the temperature must not exceed 50°C (for a maximum of 1 hour), and no detergents should be used.
- Before reinstalling the filter, ensure that it is completely dry.
- Drying the filter in an oven (maximum 50°C) is optional but will speed up the drying process.
- The filter can be regenerated up to six times.
- The filter's service life depends on the intensity of use but should not exceed 2.5–3 years.
- The frequency of regeneration also depends on how often and intensively the appliance is used; regeneration is generally recommended approximately every 5 months.

To maintain optimum performance, it is recommended to regenerate the carbon filter in a dishwasher or by soaking it in hot water at intervals determined by the frequency and intensity of use of the extractor.
