The cooker hood in absorber mode requires one element for its work to be maximally efficient and effective. This element is the FW 217 Long Life carbon filter, which excellently absorbs not only unpleasant odors but also many harmful particles released during cooking. The Long Life active carbon filter, thanks to its structure containing an increased content of active carbon compared to standard filters, provides a longer lifespan, which is 2.5 - 3 years with proper regeneration every 4-6 months.

Carbon filter regeneration instructions:
- The reusable filter is recommended to be regenerated in a dishwasher or in a water bath.
- In both cases, do not exceed a temperature of 50°C (max. 1 hour) and do not use any detergents.
- Before reusing the filter, make sure it is completely dry.
- Heating it in an oven (max. 50°C) is not mandatory but speeds up the drying process.
- The filter can be regenerated six times.
- The filter's lifespan depends on the intensity of use, not longer than 2.5-3 years.
- The frequency of cleaning also depends on the frequency and intensity of use, with a regeneration cycle of about 5 months.

For the carbon filter to work most efficiently, it is recommended to regenerate them in a dishwasher or water bath with a frequency depending on the intensity of use of the cooker hood.
