Action Inspiration January 2022 | Kitchens in wood
Wood is one of the most popular interior design elements. It works well in both classic and modern decor, as exemplified by the kitchens featured in our January edition of the Action Inspiration series. We’ve prepared 5 kitchen design ideas, tailored for those who share a love for wood.
Wood has been used for centuries. Despite access to many modern materials, it still dominates our interiors. We eagerly use both natural wood and its many advantages, as well as wood imitations in the form of furniture boards that closely resemble the original. In the following compilation, we have prepared 5 kitchen designs that prove wood can look great in almost any style. See for yourself which interior is closest to your heart.
Action Inspiration is our monthly series. We present the most interesting kitchen designs discovered on Instagram. Each month, we try to unify the theme of inspirations and present it in various forms. In January, wood takes the spotlight!

Studio Szawrot Design opted for a modern take on classic style in their project. The inspiration for the interior was a pre-war tenement, from which the floor pattern known as "irysy" was borrowed. This type of pattern, like the famous "corsets," is slowly making a comeback. As a result, the floor becomes a rich display of beautiful patterns and colours, capturing the attention of detail enthusiasts. In addition to the colourful flooring, a classic herringbone pattern was used in the kitchen. The furniture fronts and kitchen island are finished in teak wood, which, along with stone, creates an elegant yet warm decor.

#2 Light Wood Kitchen
The kitchen designed by Livin Studio perfectly reflects the latest trends. It is a large area combined with a dining and living space. It also has access to a pantry, providing plenty of storage space. The kitchen features large windows that let in natural light, making the space bright and well-lit. The kitchen furniture fronts are made in a light wood shade. Rustic-inspired beams are installed under the ceiling. The island frame is also eye-catching, serving as both a beautiful decoration and a practical place for accessories.

#3 Wood in a Modern Style
Another kitchen proves that wood is an excellent complement to elegant interiors. In the project by Architektka Szewczyk, wooden fronts are combined with white, making the interior bright and cosy. The kitchen features a stylish marble finish on the countertops and floor. The overall look is completed with gold accents in the form of a kitchen tap, lamp, and stool legs. This is undoubtedly the most elegant of the proposals, perfect for those who enjoy surrounding themselves with bright and cosy interiors with a touch of luxury.
