Built-in cooker hoods
( number of products: 102 )Built-in Range Hoods are also known as under-cabinet hoods or built-in inserts.
These are compact devices that are installed in a cabinet or any structure above the cooktop. Their advantages include small size and discretion – at first glance, the hood is not visible. Built-in range hoods elegantly align with the bottom part of the hanging cabinet. Choose a hood suitable for your kitchen. You will find built-in inserts in white, black, silver, made of lacquered steel or tempered glass.

Built-in Range Hoods – Compact Air Filtration Devices
A kitchen without a range hood can be problematic. Due to high humidity, grease, and other contaminants generated during cooking, it deteriorates faster. Water vapor penetrates furniture and countertops, causing them to "swell." Walls become dirty, and mold easily forms on them. Grease settles on flat surfaces, creating an unpleasant sludge. Unwanted odors permeate fabrics, curtains, drapes, carpets, and upholstery.
Built-in range hoods provide a solution. Their main task is to filter the air.
With the turbine in motion, they suck up all the impurities hovering above the cooking surface. Grease and dirt settle on a metal (aluminum) filter, which is composed of fine meshes. Water vapor and unpleasant odors are removed outside the kitchen (in the case of an extractor) or neutralized by a carbon filter (in the case of a recirculating hood).
Built-in Range Hoods – Installation
The designers' intention for built-in range hoods is to install them in a cabinet above the cooking surface. Pay attention to the height at which the hood will be mounted. For an electric cooktop, it should be at least 45 cm, and for a gas cooktop, at least 65 cm. However, if you have a different construction idea for mounting the hood, nothing stands in the way. The most important thing is to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
GLOBALO under-cabinet range hoods are made of durable materials: stainless steel painted in a chosen color is resistant to moisture and high temperatures. Durable tempered glass makes the built-in range hood easy to keep clean. Match the width of the hood to the width of the cooktop. It is generally accepted that the hood should be at least as wide as the cooktop.
Functionalities of Built-in Range Hoods
In addition to the standard function of air purification, built-in inserts have a range of options that make them easier to use. One of these is the operation with an external turbine, which reduces the noise of the device. Some models come with a remote control. A display and energy-efficient LED lighting, electronic buttons, high energy class, and quiet operation are now standard in this product segment. The boost function, on the other hand, is useful when a lot of fumes accumulate during cooking and need to be quickly removed from the kitchen. Cooking with a built-in range hood is easier, more pleasant, and healthier.
