Ceiling cooker hoods
( number of products: 3 )Ceiling-mounted range hoods are installed on the ceiling above the cooktop. They work excellently in kitchens with an island. The most popular width for a ceiling-mounted range hood is 100 cm. They are made from stainless steel, painted steel in various colors (including black and white), and durable tempered glass. Mounted on the ceiling, they are extremely discreet, take up little space, and effectively purify the air while cooking. They also serve a lighting function.
Ceiling Hoods – Modern Ventilation Solution
The kitchen is exposed to many factors that cause air pollution, damage to walls and furniture, and other appliances. During meal preparation, greasy particles are released and freely settle on flat surfaces. When combined with dust, they form a sticky mass that definitely should not be present in the kitchen. Ceiling hoods prevent this – they trap grease on a metal filter and absorb and neutralize unpleasant odors and moisture.
Ceiling Hoods – Specifications
Ceiling hoods GLOBALO come in the form of flat rectangular prisms resembling modern panels. Their dimensions are: width 100 cm, depth 50 cm, and height just over 40 cm. They are made of high-quality stainless steel painted in a chosen color and durable tempered glass. Their maximum efficiency reaches up to 590 m3/h, allowing for thorough air purification even in a large room, such as an open kitchen connected to the living room. The ceiling hood also fulfills an additional, equally important function – it brightly illuminates the stove, countertop, and the entire workspace with overhead lighting.
Installation of Ceiling Hoods
The ceiling hood can be installed in a recessed ceiling to align flush with it. In this case, the ceiling maintains a uniform surface, and the hood is placed "flat." You can also successfully install the hood so that it protrudes about 40 cm. It all depends on your preferences and the technical conditions in your kitchen.
The next choice is connecting the ceiling hood with a duct to ventilation (ventilation chimney) or leaving it with a carbon filter in recirculation mode. The first method is recommended as the device is more efficient and quieter. The recirculation mode, on the other hand, works well when installing an exhaust is impossible (e.g., in an apartment building).
