Telescopic cooker hoods

( number of products: 2 )

Telescopic Hoods are installed similarly to built-in inserts permanently. The only difference is that to activate the telescopic hood, you need to pull out the front panel (drawer). This is why they are also known as drawer hoods. When the front panel is extended, the surface area of the metal filters increases, allowing them to capture more dirt and grease particles. The front strip visible from the front of the hood can be customized to match your kitchen decor. Choose white or black according to your preference.

Telescopic Range Hoods – Moving Panel Activates the Hood

Telescopic range hoods have been present in our kitchens for a long time. From the models popular years ago, only the name and the activation method have remained. Modern telescopic range hoods are quieter, more efficient, and better made. Unlike built-in range hoods that are permanently fixed, activation occurs by pulling out the strip located on the front of the hood (in under-cabinet hoods, this is done by a button or a sensor panel).

In the extended part, there is an additional metal filter that can trap even more greasy particles and dirt. After cooking and cleaning the air in the kitchen, simply push the front strip back into the body of the hood.

Telescopic Range Hoods for Cabinet Installation

Although telescopic range hoods have compact dimensions, they fully serve as air-purifying devices in small and medium-sized rooms. The installation method is simple. You need a wall cabinet above the cooktop or any other structure where you can place the hood. The most important thing is to choose the appropriate width of the hood (at least as wide as the cooktop) and the size of the cabinet. Read the installation instructions carefully and go ahead!

Telescopic Range Hood as an Extractor or Recirculating Hood

Range hoods can operate in two modes: extractor or recirculating. The extractor mode is an open mode. This means that the telescopic range hood is connected by a duct to the ventilation shaft, i.e., a chimney. This is where water vapor and other contaminants generated during cooking are removed. This mode is recommended and considered more effective. The second mode is the recirculating mode, which means the hood operates in a closed circuit. This means that a ventilation shaft is unnecessary, but an additional carbon filter is installed in the hood to neutralize unpleasant odors. This mode is especially recommended for apartments in multi-family buildings where a separate ventilation shaft is not provided.

Telescopic Range Hood for Small and Medium Kitchens

If you have a large kitchen open to a spacious living room, consider a hood with higher efficiency. However, if your kitchen is small or medium-sized, a telescopic range hood with an efficiency of 300-400 m3/h is a good solution. The power will be sufficient to thoroughly clean the air in the kitchen. Additionally, the small size and discreet installation make it easy to fit into any kitchen style.
