The cooker hood in extractor mode requires one element for its operation to be maximally efficient and effective. This element is the MW 280 Long Life carbon mat, which not only absorbs unpleasant odors but also many harmful particles released during cooking. The Long Life type carbon mat, due to its structure containing an increased amount of activated carbon compared to standard filters, provides a longer lifespan, which is 2 years with proper regeneration every 4-6 months.

Functionalities:
- The MW 280 Long Life carbon filter absorbs unpleasant odors, ensuring the apartment remains free from cooking aromas.
- Activated carbon particles absorb all harmful substances (produced, for example, during frying), making the entire process healthier and more pleasant.
Purpose:
- The MW 280 Long Life filter cooperates with Globalo cooker hoods: Lonatio 60/90 and Lonatio Isola 90.
- Required number of filters for Lonatio 60 cooker hood – 2 filters.
- Required number of filters for Lonatio 90 and Lonatio Isola 90 cooker hoods – 3 filters.
Regeneration instructions for the carbon mat filter:
- The reusable carbon mat filter is recommended to be regenerated in a dishwasher or in a water bath.
- In both cases, do not exceed a temperature of 60-70°C (max. 1 hour) and do not use any detergents.
- Before reusing the filter, ensure it is completely dry.
- Heating it in an oven (max. 70°C) is not mandatory but speeds up the drying process.
- The frequency of cleaning depends on the frequency and intensity of use.

For the carbon filter to work most efficiently, it is recommended to regenerate them in a dishwasher or water bath with a frequency depending on the intensity of cooker hood use.
