The extractor will expel the sucked air and water vapor outside the room. It can only be used if the kitchen has a connection to a ventilation duct. The recirculation hood, on the other hand, will clean the air and push it back into the room.
- The island cooker hood has an aluminum filter, and in the case of operation as a recirculation hood – it can also be equipped with a carbon filter. The aluminum filter is a basic element of the cooker hood – it cleans the air of greasy particles, preventing them from settling on kitchen appliances and furniture. The carbon filter (to be purchased separately) cleans the air of odors.
