ACTION INSPIRATION - Winter kitchen arrangements
How to creatively arrange your kitchen in winter? In this post, we'll show you a few interesting solutions that will allow you to feel the winter atmosphere. Contrary to popular belief, winter offers many more colours beyond snowy white. Subtle greys, beiges, or illuminating gold will make your kitchen look impressive during this season.
Winter is a special time of year. After all, the festive season begins with it! Many of us decorate our interiors during this time. Besides the living room, which usually hosts a decorated Christmas tree, it's worth considering decorations in other rooms, particularly the kitchen. This is where the magic happens. This is where delicious dishes and cakes are prepared, which will be served on the Christmas table. Therefore, it’s important to ensure that their preparation takes place in a pleasant atmosphere. When arranging the kitchen for winter, we should also focus on making it cosy and warm while cold temperatures and short days prevail outside.
We've compiled a selection of kitchens that will serve as great inspiration for those looking to create a winter atmosphere.
"Action Inspiration" is our monthly series in which we present the most interesting kitchens discovered on Instagram. The theme for December is winter. Let’s take a look at some kitchens that have embraced the winter atmosphere.

We start the December collection with a classic — a black and white kitchen. This combination enjoys constant popularity as it is timeless and proven. As inspiration, we have chosen a kitchen by architaste.com.pl. This beautifully and functionally designed space is perfect for showcasing winter decorations and festive details.
When we think of winter, many of us picture pristine white snow. Therefore, this colour seems the most reasonable choice for winter kitchen arrangements. Since white kitchens remain at the top of interior design trends, many people won’t need to make any changes to their current setup. How can we further brighten the space? Add white accessories that can easily match almost any decor. It's also important to ensure good lighting in such a kitchen. A cosy glow can be achieved with ceiling lights, LED strips under the cabinets, or an extractor hood, as seen in the project by @przyjaciolkiprojektantki.
Many of us love winter and the white snow that blankets the world, but some yearn for summer. For these individuals, an earth-toned kitchen that evokes the warmer months is the perfect choice. A great source of inspiration is the kitchen by @tumi_home. The grey cabinetry with a slight olive tone paired with stone creates an elegant yet unique interior. It serves as a great base for all kinds of decorations, both year-round and festive. The standout features in this design are the original pendant lights over the island. The kitchen is also illuminated by LED strips by the furniture, small individual lamps, and a ceiling extractor with lighting.
Gold fits perfectly into the winter theme as it complements white and cool tones beautifully. In the kitchen, we most often see it in the form of cabinet handles and kitchen faucets. A golden extractor hood can also be an intriguing choice, as it will beautifully illuminate the space and add a touch of elegance. A striking yet budget-friendly solution is decorative gilded branches, which can be placed in a glass vase. If we skillfully match gold elements with the rest of the decor, as done by the @ideabymag studio, we will achieve an exclusive yet cosy interior.
In the winter version of a kitchen, colours and materials close to nature work perfectly. The @dwa_concept studio has chosen wood, white, and stone with a touch of black accents, such as the impressive hood above the island. This kitchen will look great all year round, and in winter it’s easy to match it with decorations in a festive style. If you prefer more subdued decorations, you can choose dried branches in natural colours, which look great during the winter months, as in this project.
