TOP 3 Kitchen arrangements with wall-mounted hoods
TOP 3 Kitchen Designs with Wall-Mounted Cooker Hoods
Wall-mounted cooker hoods are very popular. Due to their diverse forms, they easily fit into interiors of various styles. They make use of the space between cabinets above the hob.
Check out 3 kitchen designs we’ve selected that feature wall-mounted cooker hoods.
Elegant Design with the GLOBALO TOREDO Cooker Hood
The GLOBALO Toredo Cooker Hood is actually an island cooker hood, but it can also be mounted on the wall where the hob is placed.
We highlighted the black Toredo cooker hood and its featured arrangement in October 2020 in our #GLOBALOwKuchni contest. The project was designed by Nest Szczecin, and there were several things we loved about it.
This elegant interior is timeless thanks to its colour palette. Black, graphite, dark brown, and steel create a cohesive look that brings order to the space. The kitchen is minimalist and gives a sense of cleanliness and hygiene. There is no room for unnecessary trinkets. The user is most likely someone who loves having everything in its place.
In this kitchen, functionality, utility, and the ease of cleaning crucial areas (countertops, walls, cooker hood, cabinet fronts) are highly valued.
This interior pairs perfectly with a symmetrical cooker hood, which brings an additional visual order. The geometry mainly consists of straight lines and flat surfaces. The GLOBALO Toredo wall-mounted cooker hood is a quiet and efficient device that will meet the needs of even the most demanding users.
At its lowest setting, it operates at a mere 47 dB, which makes it much more likely to be used frequently. Its maximum capacity of 784 m3/h ensures it effectively removes all impurities from the air, including steam, grease particles, and unpleasant odours, which disappear through the ventilation duct or carbon filter (if used as a recirculating hood in closed mode). Energy-efficient POWER LED lighting provides excellent illumination in the kitchen.
Kitchen Design with an Industrial Touch
A spacious loft in a post-industrial building is a dream for many. High ceilings, preserved industrial elements, large windows, and a vast space where everyday life unfolds.
However, industrial style can be incorporated even into a small flat in a block of flats. This is exactly the idea behind the project submitted to the “Cooker Hood – The Heart of the Kitchen” competition by Maciej Braumberger.
We love industrial style, especially when it’s cleverly introduced into modern interiors in new buildings. When done thoughtfully, the results are... impressive!
The kitchen above features an island hood, which in this project was mounted against the wall. The GLOBALO CYLINDRO ISOLA copper hood can be mounted both over a kitchen island and against the wall where the hob is located.
We were impressed by the coherence of the design. The CYLINDRO ISOLA hood comes in an original copper colour that has captured the hearts of our users. The designer ensured this wasn’t the only copper element. A matching kettle, herb pots, and a lamp above the sink tie everything together. A standout feature that adds an industrial touch is the pull-out tap. Not only is it highly practical, but the decorative braided hose maintains the loft style.
In loft-style interiors, stone also plays an important role. In our design, the floor and countertops are made of stone, adding a touch of coolness and minimalism to the kitchen. The wood-finished ceiling, on the other hand, evokes the wooden structures found in industrial spaces.
In addition to its visual appeal, the performance of the wall-mounted hood should not be overlooked. The GLOBALO CYLINDRO ISOLA hood operates at a mere 46 dB at its lowest setting and has a maximum capacity of 742 m3/h. This ensures efficient air purification in the kitchen, both during cooking and beyond.
Minimalist Kitchen Design in Black and White
Some people love opulence, while others value minimalism. We completely understand both perspectives, which is why our third design focuses on simplicity.
The design above is truly simple in its visual appeal. It uses only two colours: black and white, which isn’t that common. At the same time, it makes the design cohesive. This is a real-life project by one of our clients, highlighted in our #GLOBALOwKuchni contest in September.
The client was drawn to the GLOBALO VERTA 90 BLACK wall-mounted cooker hood in the classic T-Line design, also known as an inverted T-shape. The model is very quiet (starting at 42 dB on the first speed). The VERTA hood achieves a maximum capacity of 564 m3/h, which means it can handle moisture even in medium-sized kitchens. It operates on four speeds, including one boost mode (the highest speed). The materials used are high-quality steel painted black and durable black tempered glass. The Verta model features energy-efficient and eye-friendly POWER LED lighting, making cooking easier and more enjoyable. The deep black colour of the hood makes it timeless and universal, bringing order and elegance to the kitchen.
