TOP 3 Kitchen Designs with Built-in Cooker Hoods
Built-in cooker hoods are small, compact, and discreet. At the same time, they effectively remove moist and greasy fumes from the kitchen. They are the perfect solution for interiors where you want the kitchen cabinetry to be the main design element, not the appliances. Get inspired by our TOP 3 kitchen designs with built-in cooker hoods.
White Kitchen with English Style Elements
Traditional English kitchens were characterised by numerous wooden cabinets and dressers in white or cream colours. A notable feature was the metal fittings, and an essential element was the glass-fronted cupboards, which displayed the contents. The cabinetry in an English kitchen consisted of countless hidden compartments to store all the accessories necessary for everyday (and holiday!) cooking. Countertops were typically made of natural materials – wood or stone.
The English style also includes floral motifs, which can be easily applied today in the form of fresh flowers and other plants. The overall impression when entering an English-style kitchen is a somewhat idyllic and country atmosphere. The floor in such a kitchen is often made of slightly darker materials than the furniture to provide a pleasant contrast.
Contemporary variations of English kitchens, of course, introduce a touch of modernity. It’s hard to imagine functioning without energy-efficient appliances nowadays. However, to keep them in the background, consider classic built-in furniture that isn’t immediately visible.
When it comes to built-in kitchens, the built-in cooker hood steps in. In the white English-style arrangement, many models from this category will work well. One such model is the GLOBALO Wineter Black built-in hood.
The Wineter is a telescopic cooker hood. To activate it, pull out the front panel.
The key features of the Wineter hood include:
- quiet operation from 49 dB on the first speed setting
- operates in extraction or recirculation mode
- energy-efficient, eye-friendly LED lighting
- airflow capacity of 315 m3/h
- made of durable tempered glass and stainless steel
- easy touch control and 3 speeds
Black Kitchen with Glamour Elements
Glamour is all about opulence, shine, and splendour. Originally, this style was popular among those who loved luxurious interiors and objects. With the right combination of materials, colours, and decorations, you can introduce elements of this elegant style into your kitchen.
In glamour style, white, black, high-gloss furniture, and decorative elements made of gold and silver are key. In this suggested design, the high-gloss furniture fronts reflect the additional lighting, sometimes turning them into mirrors.
Gloss is also recommended in the space between the worktop and upper cabinets. We suggest achieving this with several techniques: silver fixtures, gold rails for lighting, silver knobs, and a shiny wall. To maintain balance and contrast, it’s worth using white walls and a subtle floor. In a glamour kitchen, the chandelier is crucial – the bigger, the better! A material that combines functionality and aesthetics is the stone countertop, which is an excellent choice for a glamorous kitchen design. If you're planning a glamour kitchen open to the living or dining area, consider incorporating upholstered furniture, which complements the luxurious feel discussed above.
In a glamour kitchen, a built-in cooker hood works just as well as in an English-style kitchen. Its discreet nature preserves the kitchen's clean, undisturbed style.
The GLOBALO Benikor White built-in hood is one such model. Its key features can be summarised as follows:
- quiet operation at just 47 dB on the first speed setting
- energy-efficient LED strip lighting with neutral colour
- operates in extraction or recirculation mode
- tempered glass in white
- button control
- airflow capacity of 305 m3/h
Cosy Kitchen with Industrial Style Elements
Wood in the kitchen appears in many different forms. It can be found in retro/vintage, Scandinavian, and minimalist styles. We love it because it brings warmth and cosiness to the interior. Interestingly, wood doesn’t always have to be its natural brown colour.
In our third design, we used wooden furniture painted in a darker colour. As a result, the space visible between the cabinets in natural, light wood pleasantly catches the eye with its warmth. The visible grain and knots enhance the sense of naturalness. Using the right accessories (pots, plants, bowls, wooden boards, light chairs), we increase the contrast between them and the stone floor, which is slightly cooler. The cherry on top here is the industrial-style accessories – beautiful glass lamps above the table with visible bulbs and filaments, along with black ceiling spotlights.
The cooker hood, which isn’t immediately visible, is the GLOBALO Hoxado Inox built-in insert. A model that meets the requirements of an industrial-style interior.
The design of this unit differs slightly from other built-in cooker hoods. It is made entirely of stainless steel in its natural Inox colour. Its original aluminium filters also add character. The key features of the Hoxado hood include:
- high airflow capacity up to 545 m3/h
- 3 speeds + 1 intensive setting
- energy-efficient LED lighting
- operates in recirculation or extraction mode
- button control
The Hoxado built-in cooker hood is suitable even for large kitchens open to the living or dining area.
