It can only be used if the kitchen has a connection to a ventilation duct. The recirculator, on the other hand, will clean the air and push it back into the room.
- The island cooker hood has an aluminum filter, and when functioning as a recirculator, it can also be equipped with a carbon filter. The aluminum filter is a basic component of the hood - it cleans the air from greasy particles, preventing them from settling on kitchen appliances and furniture surfaces. The carbon filter (must be purchased separately) cleans the air from odors.
