Functionalities:

40% LESS PRESSURE LOSS FLOW series products allow for up to 40% less pressure loss in ventilation ducts compared to standard products. This allows for significant energy cost savings. For example; the FLOW Ventilation Chimney with a Ø160mm diameter achieves an efficiency of 360m3/h, with a pressure drop in the duct of 20Pa. A traditional Ø160 mm Chimney achieves the same efficiency with a pressure drop of 30Pa. The price difference of the FLOW Chimney, compared to a traditional chimney, pays off within 3 years due to the energy savings generated.
The result of intensive airflow research and the improved design of FLOW products ensures vertical exhaust of used air. This design also prevents water from entering the ventilation duct.
The unparalleled efficiency of FLOW products is the result of three years of intensive research and development. During this time, 30 versions of new products were created. The design process was carried out using advanced technologies, including the use of Linux supercomputers from the Finnish VTT institute. Thirteen prototypes were made using 3D printing technology and subjected to detailed tests.
The VILPE® FLOW product series was developed in collaboration with industrial designers. In addition to the improved design, all roof fans, ventilation, and sanitary chimneys will also feature a modern design.
